I got together with my friend Alex for a day of painting on April 13, 2014. I used the missing Malaysia Airlines 370 flight as a muse to come up with this painting which I’m calling “Waiting”. It shows a flight recorder on the ocean floor.
I made this as a 2012 Christmas present for my niece, Karolina. I was going to paint Eeyor to continue the Winnie the Pooh theme, but she wanted Mickey. Kids these days..
I made this Tigger painting as a 2011 Christmas present to my niece, Karolina.
I made this as a 2010 Christmas present for my parents. They recently moved to Florida, so this series painting represents that move. I really wanted to use the gold-leaf. Gluing the leaf onto the large area was a challenge, because it required multiple sheets of gold-leaf.
I made these as a 2010 Christmas present for my brother to put in his new man-cave. I thought a few small paintings would be quicker to make, but they turned out needing a lot more detail work because of their size.
I made this as a 2010 Christmas present to my sister, Isabell. I wanted to experiment with foils, so here I used silver foil for his jacket and bronze for the goggles. …shiny.
I made this Piglet painting as a 2010 Christmas present to my niece, Karolina.
I made this as a 2009 Christmas present for my sister, Isabell.
I made this Winnie the Pooh painting as a 2009 Christmas present to my niece, Karolina.
